In this Blog we have already been mentioned some tips for a proper air conditioning maintenance. In this article we´ll indicate signs that may have already drawn your attention and indicates a possible air conditioning intervention.

What are the main signs of air conditioning malfunction?

1. Don’t turn on

The first sign and one of the most obvious is when you press the car’s air conditioner button and it doesn’t work. If you press the button and receive no cold or hot air you may have a problem with the HVAC  (Heating and Ventilation Of Ar Conditioning)  system.

4. Watermarks

When we turn on the car AC it is normal to have water drains through the bottom of the car.

However, if this water is not drain it may be a problem as the lack of draining of water may be caused  by  a clogging and will eventually leave watermarks inside the car.

5. Leaks in car air conditioning

The last sign of AC problems is system leak. This can be seen as a leak of the coolant  or a leak of the incoming air from the system.

These air leaks are the most difficult to find an special tools and tips are required to sort this out. One of the tips is to place a dye in the coolant so that the place where the air comes out of the cabin becomes visible.

To solve all these problems, KROFtools always advises you to go to your  mechanic  –   change to https://blog.kroftools.com/pt/mecanicos/  where you  can perform a pressure test or a test with a UV light to stop the leak.
